André was born in Montreal (Quebec, Canada), in the mid-50's. For 4 decades,
he lived in many regions of the province of Quebec, until he left in 1996 for British-Columbia, then Manitoba, Ontario, and now Alberta.
He plays piano, keyboards, enjoys the djembe, percussions, and uses samplers and various digital technology.
He has been active in music both in secular and spiritual settings since 1977, being
particularily drawn to the dynamics of reflective worship settings, prayer and meditation. He has been part of many worship teams since around 1985.
In 1997, he recorded prayer albums live in studio with Mike Bickle, Jim Goll, Lou Engle, Ken Gott and Wesley and Stacey Campbell for the
Praying The Bible series. He also played keyboard for Andrew Smith, David Ruis, and Melody Green between 1996 and 2000.
He has been on a sabbatical since 2005.
Inspired by being IMMERSED in various settings and events of the human journey, he
played his music in all kinds of settings, intimate or public: busking on streets and subway stations, malls, Art galleries, weddings,
bars, living rooms, recording studios, churches, hospitals, etc.
A music that is universal, inspiring as much film and animation, as the movements
of Dance, Visual Arts, exhibits, choreographed sports, therapy and art sessions, public prayer and multi-media
collaborations. His works have successfully weaved with Picture, Dance, Drama, Song, Prayer,
Meditation, Worship, Intercession, Spoken Word and Therapy.
André and his wife Kimberly share a vision and passion for the healing of the broken-hearted and explore the Arts in the context of
healing and spirituality.
